A Musical Review with Choreography
This play was written to showcase the talents of many students. There’s a cheerleader, a romantic, a karate kid, a comic, a pretty but vain girl, an acrobat, a couple of characters that are quiet and shy, a leader, a drama queen, and even dumb Dora. Everyone gets the opportunity to sing and dance to old favorites such as Another Op’nin Another Show, Amore, Do Re Me and the Tarantella.

The Cunneen Hackett Arts Center
announces auditions for
THE SECRET GARDEN
Actor/singers ages 10 through 70 are encouraged to audition for the 15 available roles. The Secret Garden, set in 1906, was written by author Frances Hodgson Burnett. The musical version of the novel was penned by Marsha Norman and Lucy Simon and enjoyed a long Broadway run
in the 1990s and again in revival.
Place: Cunneen Hackett Arts Center, 12 Vassar Street, Poughkeepsie.
The Secret Garden will open on stage in the historic Victorian Theater at the Cunneen Hackett Arts Center on April 13, 2012.

Return with us to those glorious Cold War days when a chess match was proxy war between superpowers, and ABBA ruled the airwaves. CHESS is a musical adaptation of the famous chess match between Bobby Fisher and Boris Spassky during the Cold War and combines elements of espionage, romance, and of course - chess!
